To upload Wordpress theme or wp theme to your Wordpress blog. Using control panel
Download the theme on to your computer or PC. Usually with extension zip
1. Login to your website control panel
http://www.yoursitename.com/cpanel
2. Go to Legacy File Manager or File Manager
3. Go to your Wordpress blog’s wp-content directory
4. Go to wp-themes directory
5. Click on Upload option
6. Click on Browse button
7. Select your computer/pc directory where you have download theme zip file
8. Click on Open
9. Click on Upload button
10. To refresh the folder content of your wp-theme directory
10.1 Click on Directory One level Up (that will take you to the wp-content directory)
11. Click again on wp-themes directory (now you can see your zip file is sitting there)
12. Click on your theme zip file link (text link)
13. Right side of the control panel you will have this file name along with some options like copy, move, extract etc.)
14. Click on Extract option( a window will open with shows the extracted files and directories)
15. You are done here, now you can go to your Wordpress admin and under the themes you will find your new theme there

Thanks for the help! I actually had uploaded it but was scared to do extract incase it was wrong.:) Glad to see I was on the right path. This is so much easier than using fireftp for me right now til I get better at all of the steps anyway.

Ok. I can do that. Tell me where to send it to and I will send it out. It was a theme off the WordPress free themes. Actually there was 2 that I downloaded that did that. I can tell you their names as well so you can look at them. They are tagged under pink, as I was looking for a 3 column girl related theme. The names are “Blossom 2.3 and Pink Orchid 1.2″. Maybe they are not the best themes to use, being a newbie at this I am not 100% sure what to chose but I liked the colors and it fit more of what I wanted.

How do i import the songs from my iPhone onto my computer? ok, so i got my iphone 3g a year ago and have been putting songs onto it. now the computer that i have been using has crashed. fixing it, for now, is out of the question. so i have more songs that i want to upload from cds, but on another computer…how do i get the songs that are currently on my iphone AND the songs on the computer so that nothing overrides anything? 1 second ago - 4 days left to answer.
